Lessons will be on the ground (no horse) starting basic rope handling; swinging, muscle memory,roping the dummy on the ground.

Lessons will be pen roping or roping steers out of the box, depending on you and your horses skill and experience. Scoring lane available for a more controlled practice.
Live Roping Lessons

Breakaway Roping
Roping lesson on live calves. Pen roping or roping out of the box.
Participates must participate in a Smarty Sled practice first in order to have skill level assessed before roping live steers/calves. This ensures safety for all individuals involved (livestock, horse and person). Stacked Mill Iron reserves the right to decline offering live steer practice out of the until we feel an individual is ready.
