Lessons will be on the ground (no horse) starting basic rope handling; swinging, muscle memory, and roping the dummy.

Lessons will start on the ground dummy, then transition into roping the Smarty sled horseback.

Participates must participate in a Smarty Sled practice first in order to have skill level assessed before roping live steers/calves. This ensures safety for all individuals involved (livestock, horse and person). Stacked Mill Iron reserves the right to decline offering live steer practice out of the until we feel an individual is ready.
